Miller's Tree Service("Miller's," "we," "us") is a Florida tree-care company headquartered at 4951 Woodlane Cir, Tallahassee, FL 32303. This policy explains what information we collect from you, how we use it, and the choices you have about that information.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Your name, email address, phone number, and service address
• The services you're interested in and any message or notes you choose to share
• Whether you opt in to receive SMS booking confirmations and reminders
• Marketing-attribution parameters carried over from the page you arrived on (Google's gclid, Facebook's fbclid, UTM tags) — used solely so we can understand which campaigns are sending us traffic

Information we collect automatically

• The IP address that submitted a form or visited a page, the browser's user-agent, and basic page-view analytics — used for security audit, fraud prevention, and improving the site
• Cloudflare Turnstile bot-defense signals on form submission

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your service request — book appointments, dispatch certified arborists, send confirmations and reminders, and follow up after service.
• To operate our scheduling system and customer relationship management tools.
• To send the SMS messages you opted in to receive (booking links, confirmations, day-of reminders, en-route notifications). See our SMS Terms.
• To improve our website, prevent fraud, and protect the security of our systems.
• To comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising and we do not sell your information to anyone.

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers we rely on to run our business, each of which is contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only to provide their service to us:

• ArborOne Scheduler — the back-office scheduling and dispatch platform we use to coordinate estimators and appointments.
• SingleOps — our customer-relationship and job-tracking system.
• Twilio — SMS delivery for the messages you opted in to receive.
• Resend — email delivery for confirmations and follow-ups.
• Cloudflare — bot-defense (Turnstile) on our contact form.
• Google — Maps and Places used by our address autocomplete feature, plus Calendar coordination for our estimators.
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure for our websites and scheduling platform.

We will share information when required by valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, the public, or Miller's.

We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.

Cookies & Tracking

We use a small number of first-party cookies to remember your preferences and to capture marketing-attribution parameters at the moment you submit a form. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand site usage in aggregate. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not work without them.

Data Retention

We retain customer-record information (name, contact info, service history) for as long as you remain a customer plus a reasonable period after, so we can answer questions about prior service. SMS opt-in records are retained for the duration of your opt-in plus the period required by carrier compliance rules. Server logs containing IP addresses are retained for up to 90 days.

Your Choices & Rights

• SMS opt-out. Reply STOP to any SMS we send, call (850) 894-TREE, or email sales@millerstreeservice.com.
• Email opt-out. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any non-transactional email, or reply asking us to remove you.
• Access, correction, deletion. You may ask us to provide, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing sales@millerstreeservice.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
• Florida residents and residents of states with applicable privacy laws have additional rights granted by those laws; we honor them per our standard request process above.

Children

Our services are sold to property owners and managers; the website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information: encrypted transport (HTTPS) for every page and form submission, encrypted-at-rest data storage at our service providers, and role-scoped access inside our internal tools. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your information, we will notify you consistent with applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
