Our commitment

Miller's Tree Service wants every person in Tallahassee and the surrounding counties to be able to use this website — to read about our services, look up what a job costs, and request an estimate — regardless of whether they browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, screen magnification, voice control, or with the motion and contrast settings their device offers.

Standard we work to

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA (opens in a new tab). This is the standard most commonly referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

In August 2026 we completed a full audit of the site against that standard and fixed what it found, including form fields that were not announced to screen readers, a photo gallery that could not be opened without a mouse, colour combinations that did not meet contrast requirements, and an image carousel that could not be paused. We also added a skip-to-content link and support for reduced-motion preferences.

Where we know we fall short

We would rather tell you what we have not finished than claim more than we can stand behind:

  • Our audit combined expert review, automated testing, and keyboard testing in a real browser. We have not yet completed a full manual review with assistive technology such as NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver.
  • Some pages place text over photographs. We believe these are legible, but we have not verified every one of them individually.
  • Some content is provided by third parties we do not control — embedded YouTube videos, Google Maps, and the security check on our forms. We have labelled them from our side, but their internals are not ours to fix.
  • Older blog posts may contain images whose descriptions are less complete than those on our main pages.

If something does not work for you

Please tell us — we will fix it, and in the meantime we will get you what you need another way. There is nothing on this website you cannot also get from a person over the phone, including a free estimate.

Please tell us the page address and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days. If you use assistive technology, letting us know which one helps us reproduce the problem.
