I want to share something I'm proud of: a piece I wrote just went live in TCI Magazine, and I think you'd enjoy reading it.
If you're not familiar with TCI Magazine, it's the official publication of the Tree Care Industry Association and the most widely-read trade periodical in the tree care industry. TCIA is the organization behind the accreditation standard that separates professional tree care companies from the rest. Miller's is TCIA-Accredited, so this is genuinely our professional home. Getting published in it matters to us.
The article covers something I care about deeply: how tree-climbing competitions build safer, more cohesive crews. Not just better individual climbers, but better teams. I've been climbing trees for 23 years, and one of the most important things I've learned is that safety is a team sport. The trust and communication that climbers build competing alongside each other carries directly back to how crews perform together on a job site.
